2 Girls. 1 World. A Whole Lot to See

She Finally Has The Travel Bug

I am so excited to announce that my step daughter has got…

“The Travel Bug!”

I have been waiting many years for one of my kids to inherit my love of travel.  The oldest is happy with visiting the Jersey Shore.  She loves going to a beach three hours away and never even entertains the idea of traveling anywhere she can’t drive to.  My middle son has travel anxiety with no desire to travel anywhere that requires a passport.

This is how he usually looks on vacation…

MAD.  Who is mad when they are at Disney?

He thinks travel is scary. There are just too many crazy people in the world out to get him.

And then there is Cameron, the youngest. She is 14 now.

She is thrilled and happy to be anywhere!

Last year she came to us wanting a passport so she could take a cruise. I was so excited and took her that week.

I was ecstatic knowing her world had now opened.  She has been talking about travel for a few years, always interested where Roni and I were going but never asking to go.

Well, times have changed!

Now she reads the blog and wants to join us EVERYWHERE!  This summer I am planning to take her with me as often as I can.  Our first trip together will be Savannah, Ga. for FitBloggin’14.  She is already excited, talking about it all the time.

She’s also started saving for a Hawaii trip and Italy by saving all her change, even salvaging what she could from the couch cushions … genius!

I hope I can help make these dreams come true for her.

I’m so happy to have a new travel buddy!

Now to convert the other kids…
