It happened.

A throwback vacation memory.

I was taking a shower this morning and got annoyed at the husband when he opened the door and a big gust of  cold air entered the room.  My shower curtain blew into me and stuck to my body. Several times.

Annoying.

After a few minutes I started to smile. Remembering my vacation with my dad when I was a teenager.  It was the first time that I went to San Diego. We were in this grungy hotel right on the beach. My dad was never a big spender. Some people would call him,well, cheap. Anyway , I distinctly remember every time I would take a shower in that hotel room the shower curtain would blow and stick to me.  For some reason they had a high window in the shower itself that was always open(Weird now that I am thinking about it). The shower at that hotel was NEVER a pleasant experience. I proceeded to tell the husband the story and everything I could remember about the trip. I am sure he loved it.

Does this happen to you? Something weird happens during your day to day life and it gives you a memory that you would not normally remember?

It happens to me alot..especially about vacations.

Drinks, comments, a piece of clothing, or even an argument can remind you of a memory. And then it leads to a conversation.
